Where the prices come from
We did not invent a single one of these numbers.
Our delivery partner in Lagos keeps a costed list of what an outreach needs, written for their own planning rather than for a donation page. The scale in this photograph is on it. So is the tent, the examination light and the water dispenser.
We took their list, converted it once at a stated rate, and published it. That is the whole method. It is also why the figures here are unusually specific for a charity two years old: they were not written to persuade anyone.

An outreach is planned months before anyone arrives. Tents are booked, staff are scheduled, medicine is ordered against a number somebody has to commit to in advance.
A monthly gift is what makes that number real. It is the difference between a charity that can plan a programme and one that can only react to what arrives.

The Foundation works through named delivery partners, and a grant is measured against the same costed lists published on this page. We can supply our constitution, our Charity Commission entry and a programme by programme breakdown of what a grant would fund.
